Pyronin Y (PY) Solution Application
Pyronin Y(G) (PY) is a dye used for DNA staining. PY has orange spectral emission that is easily distinguishable from FITC and 7-AAD.

Pyronin Y (PY) Solution Preparation
- Prepare 800 mL of distilled water in a suitable container.
- Add 1 g of Pyronin Y(G) (PY) (Polysciences, Inc.) to the solution.
- Add distilled water until volume is 1 L.
- Store at 4°C protected from light.
