The Golgi stain reveals the entire structure of a neuron, including the cell body (soma), axon, and dendrites, while the Nissl stain primarily highlights the cell body and rough endoplasmic reticulum, which are associated with the nucleus. Therefore, the Golgi stain shows the neurites (axons and dendrites) that are not visible with the Nissl stain
