– Use the formula: pH = pKa + log₁₀([A⁻]/[HA]) – Ensure that the concentrations are in the same units (usually moles per liter). – Calculate the ratio [A⁻]/[HA]. – Take the logarithm (base 10) of this ratio. – Add this value to the pKa to find the pH.
