How many ATP are produced from the Krebs cycle?

Each turn of the Krebs cycle produces 1 GTP (or ATP) directly. Indirectly, through oxidative phosphorylation, 3 NADH yield about 7.5 ATP and 1 FADH₂ yields about 1.5 ATP, totaling around 10 ATP equivalents per cycle. With two turns per glucose molecule (since each glucose yields two acetyl-CoA molecules), the total ATP equivalents from the Krebs cycle per glucose is approximately 20 ATP equivalents.
