Nutrients – these are chemical substances in food,, essential for energy, body structure, metabolism, and regulation. they’re grouped as macro (carbs, proteins, fats) and micro (vitamins, minerals).
Food – it’s any substance, solid or liquid, consumed to provide nutrients. it supports survival,, growth, and good health,, sometimes also adds pleasure or cultural value.
