Toxoid can be prepared from the exotoxins but not from endotoxins — How will you distinguish between exotoxins and endotoxins of pathogenic bacteria?

Exotoxins are protein toxins secreted by bacteria and can be neutralized and inactivated to form toxoids for vaccination. Endotoxins are part of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria and are not secreted but are released when bacteria die. They cannot be used to create toxoids and generally cause systemic effects rather than localized toxicity. Exotoxins are usually specific and have distinct effects on host cells, while endotoxins cause general inflammation and fever.
