(ii) Batch Culture vs. Continuous Culture:
Batch Culture: Microorganisms are grown in a closed system with a single batch of medium, where growth occurs in phases.
Continuous Culture: Microorganisms are grown in an open system with constant addition of fresh medium and removal of spent medium, allowing for continuous growth.
